Real magick emerges most from self awareness.

Study all the esoteric books you want, you cannot access nor control spiritual power without a healthy connection to the self,

you don’t have to be confident at you, you just have to honor your inner source of life and what your actual heart and intuition tell you,

the core self will correct and show you where you are and are not aligned,

Any lesser mindset will convince you of absolute innocence and coerce you to coerce your life into affirming your delusions.

Magical power and being able to guide and channel for others is a restrictive skill,

if in your spiritual work, you channel or go into trance and entirely blackout; you are being invited to spend time with the space between you and you. This is your ceremony time to be held and discover in a hermitage, who is the person you became when you went dark?

Working to guide, heal, teach or prophet without proper self-integration will feel like trying to lift a heavy stone from across the river with a thread.

Learn to identify the river and it’s seasons, build a bridge, then roll the stone over. Step further back and ask: why the hell are we moving this stone?

Often the task of ‘trying’ to help, heal or save others comes from our own self asking for our own self to do this for us,

because it is exclusive to us, outsourcing that internal feeling onto others becomes an exhausting effort, which is a sign we may be overreaching our task and not seeing the picture clearly.

The inner voice usually knows when we are off, if we pause, we can often sense we are not centered; we may feel scared, challenged, or perhaps, a greater issue at large in our lives needs attention before we are capable of the esoteric work, channeling and guiding others. Even if resorted just to ourselves, opening up spiritual power is not reversable and can often fill an entire mind with energy that it wasnt expecting or able to integrate and ground onto earth…

Seeking to work with spiritual magick, such as: Deities, Elemental powers, Kundalini, Entities, working with Spiritual Offerings to or from the fae, earth and other-dimensional beings, or communicating with plant medicine like DMT, ayahuasca or peyote, requires a strong equipment of self awareness and security in order to remain whole and protected while in the work of it.

I recommend attending first to your home and inter-personal life, assure you are secure there before opening up these doorways to more conscious power. This power is real, inherent to us, meant to emerge through precise action in practice and time.

When we take on more spiritual energy, our sense of self has to integrate and comprehend the experience into our reality. Depending on the magick we are using and the self awareness we carry, we may become more susceptible to strokes, psychotic breaks and ailments of physical and psychological distress.

Experience in other lives will reflect in our gifts, yet, a lack of character or security of self in even the most naturally skilled person, can easily derail an entire life. Think of the spiritual power of talent and how often a persons’ undeniable ability is spiritual magick. The more the person feeds their gift, the more it requires of the self. At some point, without the proper accountability that comes with self awareness, spiritual power can become too much and create a monsterous affect on their personality and life.

We know, often, people cannot control when or if the spirit will erupt a trance or sudden ability of awareness,

I encourage you to use your sudden epiphany as a chance to connect wholesomely with yourself and your universe,

use your abilities to become well acquainted with you and your home before attempting to use these gifts of awareness or spiritual control on others.

This is also to protect you from cause and affect, the repercussions of attempting to shift minds and life around you too soon, out of vanity, not clarity. Only self attunement will know if you are acting out of vanity or clarity and be available to amend and adjust.

in terms of proper approach, not opening doors before you’re ready, self security before magick; I did not follow these rules at the beginnings of my work, most of us don’t. I created a massive labyrinth of drama and conflict to discover I was mimicking an internal war inside me. I must save me before I can realize, we only meet each other, shining light and shedding weight by our own permissions. For the most part, observation is the only key needed in magick and self awareness.

I realize, with self awareness, I recapture the demon I let loose in me, I take ownership of the fear and I inherit my mind. I finally learn how to use my spiritual power to aid my life rather than take away, manipulate and control myself or others. Only when I became aware of the ways I internally manipulate, control and bend reality with my emotions did I find the key points of responsibility I have in creating my experience.

The core witness inside you is the reflection tool needed for all spiritual works and this tool is needed to live a good life,

even if you never pick up an ankh or a cross,

a sense of connection within yourself is the key to everything else in reality.

A willful lack of awareness to your soul can manifest as the pursuit for power, often creating a strong imbalance where the person becomes ravenous, mad and hungry for control. Having lost and disconnected from themselves, they will fall, allow them to, and witness yourself shedding the need to save them. Once you are ‘saved,’ you see, it is not something you can do for someone, it is something that HAS to happen within, then from your contact, a place of magick and alter emerges from you to welcome in more power and more energy.
